Nickera S. Farrington– Robinson is a daughter of the soil, born and raised in beautiful, vibrant and sunny Nassau, Bahamas. She is the eldest of four children, a mother and a wife . Nickera is a born leader, integral ambitious, team player, social but disciplined and a very hard hard working young lady. With a little over twelve (12) years of exceptional service within The Royal Bahamas Police Force , Nickera has been attached to several departments including the Police Band, Tourism Police Unit, Mobile Division, Police Staff Association and the Criminal Investigation Department( CID) where she is presently serving as Detective Corporal 3412 in the Sexual Offences Unit.

In January 2014 Nickera was elected to the Police Staff Association’s (PSA) Constable Branch Board where she served as part of the Special Projects Committee. After a re-election in 2017 she advanced to the Executive Branch Board and was elected to the office of Executive Secretary where she diligently functioned in that capacity from July 2017 to October 2020. In January 2020 Nickera was promoted to the rank of Corporal. After the most recent PSA General Election in October 2020, she was again elected to the Branch Board where she presently functions as the Police Staff Association’s Director of Public Relations and Chief Advisor to the present Executive Chairman Mr. Sonny R. Miller.

A recipient of Commissioner’s Commendation, Nickera is passionate about police welfare, personal development and education. With certifications in numerous disciplines including Human Resource Management, Public Speaking, Anger Management and Conflict Resolutions, just to name a few, Nickera S. Farrington– Robinson is on her way to a bright and
promising career path.
