Travis Chicot is a young, vibrant police officer who hails from the Community of Laborie. He has been a police officer for the past 13 years. He has served at Criminal Investigations Department, Drug Unit and is now in an Acting position of Corporal of Police at the Marchand Police Station, a station designed to foster a greater community policing with the public. Travis took the helm of the police welfare association in St. Lucia as one of the youngest police officers to sit in the chair. Since he has taken over, members call his leadership “one like never before.” At present, the president is geared to commencing a degree in criminology and later furthering his career as a lawyer.
